Hi, George-
My
name is Robert Burtis and I publish the "WorldWide Scam Network"
nonprofit consumer advocate web site (and have published it for more
than ten years).
You may or may not be familiar with our web
site, but you should be familiar with "Phil Piccolo" aka "The One Man
Internet Crime Wave".
He recently officially and publicly announced his "retirement" from MLM:
"As
of January 31, 2007 I am retiring from MLM and will no longer be
involved with any MLM company nor will I be interested in becoming
involved in any future MLM opportunity." - Phil Piccolohttp://www.worldwidescam.info/pplastletter.htmNow he is sending out e-mails announcing:
Phil Piccolo OWES YOU & Wants You Back - Guaranteed $18,000
I have forwarded to you a copy of his e-mail which was sent
to me by a friend.
I
have looked at some of your Internet marketing and your web presence
and you certainly appear to be a successful and honest network
marketer. Therefore I am hoping that you will heed my advice by
refusing to be a party in any way to any of Phil Piccolo's schemes and
scams. At the bottom of the forwarded e-mail you will see where he
announces:
WARNING:CHRISTIAN MATERIAL
Many of you asked me for a SNEAK PEEK at BREAKING THROUGH
"A Christians Journey To Network Marketing Success"
Go To http://www.theoriginalnetworkmarketer.comIt
looks like he's going to try and build a downline by frontloading your
books through his various programs. THEN it sounds like he's going to
market your magazine subscription offer for $99. Phil can take ANY
product and turn it into a scam operation, which inevitably damages the
product itself. I am quite sure that you do not want your name or
business or books associated with Mr. Piccolo under any circumstances
at any time.
I
have no personal animus for Phil Piccolo - he's actually a very likable
guy! But his documented Internet track record says it all:

Phil Piccolo - The MLM Legend
http://www.worldwidescam.info/mlmlegend.htmI
have written to other companies when Piccolo begins to work his game on
a new company or product line, and usually, the owners are so giddy
with excitement from all the sales that Phil has promised them, that
they laugh off my warnings and ignore the information in front of their
face.
Which is fine - it doesn't affect me in the least. I am
not involved in ANY MLM company and the WWSN is not sponsored by anyone
but me.
Inevitably, though, these same people learn the hard way
that getting involved with Piccolo in any capacity is fatal to their
business. The WWSN site has never been successfully sued or wrong about
any company or any MLM scammer in ten years. I speak regularly at MLM
Attorney Jeffrery Babener's "MLM Start-Up Seminars" in Las Vegas and
invite you to seek Mr. Babener out as a reference for me personally.
Perform
your own due diligence - see what Piccolo has been up to and see the
thousands of people he has taken for millions of dollars over the past
ten years.
But do not just listen to Phil Piccolo's promises,
and tales of woe, and his inspirational conversations with God. Get the
facts and make your decisions on the basis of informed consent.
Good luck to you!
Robert Burtis
