The Money Maker's Monthly Client List - A Police Line-up at the FTC
If you are a professional in any sense of the word, you naturally perform some version of due diligence on any opportunity, program or product you are considering involving yourself in.You should do the same when reading through the WorldWide Scam Network as well as the Money Maker's Monthly on line and print media publications.Keith Laggos and the Network Marketing Business Journal are pretty gosh darn upset that MLM Attorney Jeffrey Babener thought there might be some value in encouraging a dialogue between different components of the network marketing industry. Mr. Babener does not in any way endorse the WWSN or sanction our activities; but he did enough due diligence himself to recognize that the WWSN has been right on occasion. And he was willing to suggest to the MLM marketplace that the WWSN might have a point of view worth considering, when starting up a new network marketing enterprise. Mr. Babener also recognizes the WWSN as an independent supporter of honest MLM and agrees with many of our goals, if not always our tactics and style. Let's begin our analysis of the Network Marketing Business Journal's concerns by reviewing THEIR track record. Here are just a few of the MLM companies that Money Maker's Monthly has featured as "Company of the Month":

Admittedly, a couple of the companies on this list are still doing business, but the WWSN is confident that their day will come, as well. The point is, many of the companies spotlighted and featured on Money Maker's Monthly have been exposed as some of the biggest and most dangerous scams on the Internet. How could this happen? After all, the MMM states: "Company of the Month - This regular feature highlights a highly successful network marketing company each month. Products, management, compensation plan, philosophy and sales objectives are covered in depth."
Later, they state:
"Although we will continue to support advertisers, all editorial is always free. Featured companies must meet proven criteria, but we do not investigate or endorse them.""Products, management, compensation plan, philosophy and sales objectives are covered in depth." If this were true, none of the above companies would have ever been promoted and featured as "Company of the Month". Even a superficial examination of GMT! would have revealed the many flaws in their marketing plan, comp plan, management team, and product line - right from the start. So how DOES a company get selected for "Company of the Month"? The answer to that question comes from a guy who's been on the inside:

I have been in the Industry for many years....had an MMM sales rep in my
office once "representing" Money Losers Monthly trying to sell me the
"opportunity" to have our company featured as the Company of the Month for
$25,000 or we could be the New Kid on the Block for something like
$10,000......and as a favor to us Mr. XXX would come to our National
Conventions and personally handle the selling of reprints to our sales reps.
Making it an enticing proposition, he winked and said "You guys can write
your own article also....say anything you want and we will print it." He
made my skin "crawl" a bit, and after listening to him self edify his
personal success of many years in the Network Marketing Industry, he
crossed his legs and I could not help but notice the holes in his
shoes....also the shabby suit that looked like he slept in it the night
before. I politely threw him out of my office.
I have been a fan of your website and newsletter since the inception. You
clearly, and with great parody and humor identify, the slime and crooks that
are the parasites in this industry. I don't think you have ever had a bad
call. MLM Watchdog.com was doing a good job many years ago until he started
marketing his "services and products" to start-up companies. The good, the
bad, the ugly....if your money was green and in his pocket, I began to
notice he overlooked the crooks that had a paid in full invoice from Rod.
Too bad he had to compromise his integrity to market his wares, now it is a
marketing web site not a "watchdog" site. You and the WWSN remain the only
true unbiased "watchdog" website
that is not afraid to call it as you see it. Congratulations.
P.S.- I would not mind if you wanted to post this, perhaps leave my name
off....and just say Name withheld at request of sender....but sender is

Now you begin to understand why Keith Laggos and the
Network Marketing Business Journal are so upset with Jeffrey Babener and the WorldWide Scam Network.
Money Maker's Monthly doesn't care if their spotlighted company is marketing box knives for terrorists, as
long as they pay cash in advance. They have absolutely zero standards! And yet they present themselves
as a responsible industry journal - and eagerly sell reprints by the thousands - reprints of articles they
did not write, investigate, or validate. They are a Kinkos print shop for scammers.
Their goal is legitimate and legal - to make money. We have no personal gripes with the people behind it. But as a
truly independent investigative information resource, the WWSN has an absolute responsibility to tell it like it is about this electronic billboard with no ethics, standards, morals, or conscience. They are quite simply for sale to the highest bidder. And finally, these statements would be libelous, were they not true. But nothing posted on the WWSN is slanderous. Would someone please inform Mr. Laggos about the difference? The WorldWide Scam Network |
